What makes me happy?
Grocery shopping! I LOVE grocery shopping. All those beautiful fruits and veggies in the produce department ~ I never know what I'll find from week to week. There are so many lovely greens!
This week I bought Rainbow Swiss Chard, Dino Kale and Mustard Greens....
Not sure what they are or what they look like? I'll post some photos.
I never ate greens before making smoothies ~ I would pass right by them in the store. Now most of my shopping is done in the produce section :)
Here's a peek at what my fridge looks like nowadays ~ who would've thought!!

  1. i remember the first time seeing one of your "weird and a little poisonous looking drinks"... a day later i was offered to try some and can now fully understand your passion!! since then i am right with you and the walk through the magic wonderland of greens! it is a great feeling to try out new combinations and standing in front of them trying to figure out how this would taste mixed with that.... thank you for opening my eyes!!

  7. Hi! I've been drinking green smoothies everyday for 3.5 weeks now, and I just found your blog from a video of yours on youtube. I am so excited to comb through it! I started my own blog (kellynoellerotterman.blogspot.com) because blogs I've found on clean eating/raw eating/green smoothies have been some of the most helpful tools. It's so nice to learn from someone who has gone on a journey from not eating greens to changing their entire lifestyle.

I just had to comment after reading about how you'd pass greens before and now you shop mostly in produce. That's EXACTLY my life right now! At our local farmers market, I didn't even know they had that many greens. Since I started green smoothies, I realized almost every stand had greens! I do 95% of my shopping in the produce section.

    Thank you for your blog!
