My favorite Chia cereal
2 tbsp of chia seeds
1 cup of water
handful of walnuts
sliced banana
handful of raisins
diced granny smith apple
couple dashes of cinnamon
directions
pour everything into a bowl
let sit for 5 minutes
stir & enjoy ~ how easy is that?
I make this every night for Rich's breakfast but with almond milk, no nuts but raisins and cinnamon. Then I shred an apple on at breakfast time. He loves it!
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a staple for us too Jodi! My husband takes it to work each day for lunch, it travels so well in a mason jar... He puts in goji berries & sunflower seeds along with raisins, cinnamon & apple ~ it's delicious!
